The Bluetones are touring in May

Can't say what Mark will be like with his other band...will be good but not really the same without Adam and Eds. But The Bluetones are fantastic live. Really looking forward to the tour (as you maybe able to tell! )

The new supergrass album. It's pretty fantastic, a real return to form for them. I wasnt keen on the direction of the last album but the new one is really rather special. Got the new raconteurs album too but not gave it much of a listen yet, sounds good so far.

I'm listening to I Am Kloot by I Am Kloot. Perfect music to be miserable with on a Sunday despite the sunshine.

Right, I know this might just re-win me the title of Dodgy's worst fan, but I've never really listened to Homegrown before. I mean properly, with headphones on, getting into every click and rasp, properly. Anyway, I've just come back off my holidays in Italy. During the last week I've been to Rome, the Vatican, Montepulciano, Florence, Siena and Pisa. Obviously that has meant some extensive train travel (and a new appreciation of the rail-side grafitti works of "Ribes") and so I took my MP3 and a few extra batteries. I gave the new James album a few in-depth listens and I have to say I bloody love it. Ended up wandering round the Piazza del Campo muttering, "Hey Ma, the boys in bodybags, coming home in pieces.." while eating a huge ice cream. Not being particularly inspired by anything else I'd carefully selected for my holiday listening pleasure, I put Homegrown on. And again, and again, and again... It's good innit! Can you imagine, me listening to Dodgy in the Vatican! That's nothing. I nearly got chucked out of the Colloseum for shouting, "Badger noses, otter spleens, wolf's nipple chips, get 'em while they're hot, they're lovely!".
