We can finally announce it. I've been bursting to tell you for the last month but we weren't allowed to.
We are playing a very special co-headline show with the mighty BLUETONES on Sunday MAY 17th at a secret London venue, all I can tell you is that it's in Zone 1.
-The venues will remain ‘hidden’ until 24 hours before the gig, when a text or email will be sent to the ticket holders. There’s a good reason for this. Crisis wants to a put a spotlight on the growing issue of ‘hidden homelessness’ in the UK. By withholding details of the venues until the day before, Crisis wants people to understand the precarious nature of hidden homelessness – often moving from place to place, and often not knowing where you may end up each night.
We're probably going to toss a coin at the start of the night to see who goes on first

When Crisis asked us if we wanted to get involved about 6 weeks ago, I immediately thought of asking the Bluetones to do it with us. We've known them for, blimey, nearly 20 years now, since before we were both signed. We used to knock about with each other at our house in Hounslow West, we used to have the most fantastic parties - we used to call the parties The Every Saturday Club.
Anyway, remarkably in all this time since those days we've never actually played together on the same bill (at least I don't think we have) so I thought that this was the perfect opportunity to put that right. An Every Saturday Club reunion, if you like. Luckily Mr Mark Morris agreed.

So I thought - why stop there - so I asked THE Mathew Horne from Gavin and Stacey, who's a lifelong fan of Bluetones and Dodgy, to DJ/compere and he bloody agreed as well !!!

It's gonna be an amazing night.

So I really had the wind in my sails now so I then asked Ali Bongo but he went and died on me.
Actually, that last bit's not true, but everything up until the Ali Bongo bit is 100% true.

So please, call your mates, maybe people you haven't seen in ages, perhaps they've moved to another part of the country - all of you buy some tickets and tell them to meet you in London on May 17th. With your party shirts on. And perhaps a bib.
