Well, the apples are falling off the tree, The Beatles are back were they belong and we're
all eagerly awaitng the latest dodgy album !
Since the band reformed in 2007 they have entertained us in the live arena, gradually
working excitng new material into the live set, giving a hint of what we might expect
on a new album.
Nigel's social conscience seems stronger than ever and that shows
through in both his writing for solo work and dodgy songs.
With his production work bearing plenty fruit he has matured into a latter day Roy Wood figure.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kmo1OMNXikg&feature=channel_page Andy, bless him, has turned his hand to art, rivalling Tony Bennett, John Squire and
Joni Mitchell in the canvas stakes, kicking back after the Gena Dry / M.A.S.S. / Hey Gravity !
marathon, to the more relaxed schedule of dodgy.
Matt is still leading the revoltion head on live, keepin' his hand in with the psychedelic Yellow Moon Band
and managing the raucous Panama Kings.
So what can we expect ??
A bunch songs that are Galacticos tearing open the airwaves and knocking the socks off the live circuit,
but put together on an album crafted like fine team work.
I wouldn't put it past them to have written the next three dodgy albums actually, so they can hit the ground running,
while regaining their rightful stature will be (ahem) ...plain sailing !
Best of Luck !
